7/8″ Red Worsted Wool Tape

$3.50

Made in England

7/8″ (22mm)

This width works well for the bottom binding of wool petticoats or the binding on Cloaks but there are many other uses. In 1752 “a white Servant Man” ran away as advertised in The Virginia Gazette. He “had on when he went away, a blue Cloth Coat and Breeches, faced, lined and trimmed with Red . . .  he’s an Englishman, and hath been in the Country about a Year; and pretends to be a Coachman”
