7/8″ Highlander Green Worsted Wool Tape
Made in England
This width works well for binding the bottom of petticoats or the edges of a cloak as well as many other applications. In 1767, in The Boston Post Boy, included “Ran away . . . an Irish indented Servant . . . had on when he went away, which was last Evening, a Felt Hat trimmed with green” from personal communication with Mike Barbieri. Green 35/2 linen thread match this tape well but the 80/3 medium green is only a slight bit off as well.
