90% Wool, 5% Cashmere and 5% Nylon
24 oz, 60" Wide
This soft, wool broadcloth has a full nap on one side. The easiest green to dye are shades of olive. This would make a very nice man's coat, waistcoats, breeches or jacket. For example in The Providence Gazette of 1763 "Runaway . . . an Apprentice Lad . . . a Shoemaker by trade. Had on when he went away, a . . . green Jacket" cited in Taylor, Runaways, Deserters, and Notorious Villains From Rhode Island Newspapers Volume 1, 2001. Green linen thread is just a shade lighter for hand sewing. For sewing button holes try light green silk quilter's thread which is quite a bit lighter in color or buff silk quilter's thread which will not match but also has an earthy color.
