Made in the USA
Crosswheel buttons were used on underclothes and waistcoats from the 18th to early 19th century. These hand made of 35/2 white linen thread on solid brass rings and are about 1/2" across. These are very similar to the buttons on an extant c. 1770s white linen boy's waistcoat at the Connecticut Historical Society.
